CRNA Job Details – Honolulu, HI

Location : Honolulu, Hawaii

Healthcare Setting : Hospital (13 operating rooms, 2 GI suites)

Position Type : Locum tenens

Assignment Duration : 8 weeks with option to extend (client open to 3 or 6-month contracts)

Start Date : December 22, 2025

Shifts per Week : 5

Shift Lengths : 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts (7 : 00am – 3 : 30pm; 7 : 00am – 5 : 30pm; 7 : 00am – 7 : 30pm)

Total Hours : 40 hours per week

Call Requirement : No call

EMR System : EPIC (Health Connect)

CRNA Qualifications & Requirements

Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license

Current Hawaii RN and APRN licenses required (no licensing candidates)

Board Certification as a CRNA

Minimum 1 year of recent hospital-based CRNA experience

COVID-19 vaccination required

Ability to work all assigned shift types

Clean background for emergency privileges (estimated 1 week with license in hand)

CRNA Responsibilities

Deliver anesthesia care for a range of surgical cases : General, Orthopedics, GI, GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Vascular procedures

Perform regional anesthesia blocks (optional)

No cardiac, transplant, or obstetric (OB) cases

Work independently under medical supervision; collaborate with anesthesiologists and fellow CRNAs

Maintain the highest standards of patient safety and clinical care

Document all anesthesia care accurately in EPIC EMR
