We are seeking a Locum NP in Mason City, IA.

Shift : 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday with call

Position Details :

Patient Population : Serving a population of 200,000+ in 16 surrounding counties

Setting : Inpatient & Outpatient

Responsibilities :

Clinical, Surgical, and Trauma / Orthopedic Call coverage

Rounding on post-op patients

Inpatient / ED consults

OR support

Call : Weeknight coverage, no weekend

Required Procedures : General Orthopedic procedures, including joint replacements, trauma care, fracture care, sports medicine

EMR System : GE Centricity for clinic, EPIC for hospital

Support Staff : 1 nurse per provider

3 cast techs per 7 providers

3 receptionists, 2 surgery schedulers per 7 providers

Days Per Month : Sporadic coverage; per diem

On-Call / Weekends : Weeknight call, no weekend coverage

Submission Requirements :

Board Certified - Required

Clean Malpractice - Required

Active IA License or Active Compact / IMLC LOQ - Required

Provider must be an NP and aware this is a Per Diem need
