Position Summary

The  Baker is responsible for preparing desserts and baked goods to be served to guests throughout the venue. The Baker will often have direct contact with the public working in areas such as a buffet line or preparing dishes to order. The Baker  must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $20.00 to $22.00.

About the Venue

The Footprint Center is in the heart of downtown Phoenix, home to the Phoenix Suns and Mercury professional basketball teams and a variety of special events and concerts tear round-making it the preeminent destination for sports and entertainment in the southwest.

Responsibilities

As a Baker you would be responsible for preparing / producing / baking breads, rolls, breakfast pastries and desserts according to standard recipes for the food and beverage outlets, in order to contribute the overall guest satisfaction. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards :

• Prepare and produce all dessert, cookies, pies, cakes, and breads for all menus.
• Keep adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures the proper storage.
• Keep spoilage / waste to a minimum by ordering and utilizing proper quantities and rotating products.
• Maintain daily pars on all products to ensure freshness.
• Utilize any and all leftovers into usable products where possible.
