We are looking for :

Veterinary Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician is accountable for the day-to-day pharmacy operations tasks to support patient care. This individual is responsible for ordering receiving rotation dispensing and accountability of the pharmacy inventory.

What youll do :

Fulfill all patient prescription requests

Verify client / patient information is accurate

Maintain Medical records

Accurately count and fill prescriptions

Communicate prescription instructions to external pharmacies

Maintain inventory stock and tracking data on in-house medications

Participate in cycle counts and troubleshoot discrepancies

Stock medications in the pharmacy with correct labels and expirations

Responsible for managing blood inventory

Comply with regulatory agencies requirements

Complete assigned projects

Who you are :

Credentialed Veterinary Technician or experienced veterinary assistant preferred

Work successfully as a team member and autonomously

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Ability to be detailed oriented quality focused and self-motivated

Demonstrates sense of urgency

Flexibility with work hours with the ability to work additional hours weekends and holiday as necessary

Must be competent utilizing Microsoft Office programs

Ability to learn industry-specific program
