We’re helping the home valuation and appraisal industry work more efficiently to value a $40 trillion asset class and bring equity and transparency to the US housing market. We’re funded by Initialized Capital and are seeing strong traction and revenue growth. Our team is growing and we are looking for a talented Staff Software Engineer to drive feature development for our new product line.
What you’ll do
- You’ll lead and deliver solutions on a modern stack to improve our SaaS application serving the home appraisal industry.
- The core of the system is built with Go, React / Typescript, and Python and runs on top of technologies including AWS lambda, SQS and PostgreSQL.
- You will work independently or as part of a small team, identifying robust solutions that can be implemented rapidly.
- In addition you will help drive a continuous improvement process by driving the design, productivity, quality, and observability of our backend over time.
What you’ll bring
Minimum of 3 years experience owning large server side projects with a strongly typed languageProven ability to lead significant multi-person projectsA drive and ability to build high quality software while improving your skills along the wayAbility to coach and support other developersInterest and ability to work anywhere in the stack - from operations to the UIUS ResidencyAble to meet in person in San Francisco a few days a weekBonus points
