This is a short-term, 2–6 month assignment beginning December 31, 2025, with guaranteed monthly shifts and multiple schedule options. If you’re an APP with proven EM experience and comfort in a busy, trauma-designated ED — this is an ideal opportunity to step into consistent coverage with full medical staff support. Assignment Snapshot Location : Beckley, West Virginia Start Date : December 31, 2025 Contract Length : 2–6 months Schedule Availability : 9–12 shifts per month Shifts Available : Monday–Friday : 9a–9p Monday–Friday : 11a–11p Saturday–Sunday : 3p–3a Saturday–Sunday : 9a–9p EMR : Medhost Privileging : Temporary privileges available (~30 days) Facility & ED Profile Annual Volume : ~32,000 Hospital Beds : 300 ED Beds : 24 Patients per Hour : ~2 Trauma Designation : Level III Staffing Model : 24 MDs / 36 APCs Code Response : Hospital Medicine Team This is a modern ED with strong medical staff alignment, and rapid access to specialty support — creating a safe and well-structured environment for APPs practicing independently.
