Work Schedule and Additional Information : Full-time employment. Work hours are as follows with rotating say and weekends, with a 30-minute lunch. Working very other weekend is required.
Telework : You will not have the option to telework in this position.
Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. DMVA is pleased to announce the launch of a Nursing Referral Program, promoting the hiring and retention of nursing staff at Pennsylvania's veterans homes. Under this program, both referring employees and referred candidates may be eligible for payments of up to $4,000.

Required Experience, Training & Eligibility Qualifications : Minimum Experience and Training Requirements : Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry; or Six months of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients or residents. This position is assigned to a long-term or specialized care facility require active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry. Additional Requirement : You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements : A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
