Mortgage Underwriter

Description

The Mortgage Fulfillment Underwriter ensures that the assets reviewed meet all applicable investor guidelines, through a complete knowledge of requirements and regulations. As the Underwriter, you will be held accountable for quality and accuracy of decisions. The Underwriter will :

• Decisions full range of mortgage loans, preferably including FHA loans
• Review all mortgage applications and documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Work with clients to prepare mortgage applications and related documentation as needed, help resolve any outstanding issues
• Work with compliance officers to ensure Federal, State, and local compliance of all mortgage and loan materials
• Approve or deny mortgages on a timely basis
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
• Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values Schedule M-F 8 : 00- 5 : 00 PM with 30 Min Lunch.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $35.00 / hr.
