As a critical member of the patient care team, Pediatric Registered Nurses (RN) are responsible for providing age-appropriate care to patients in his / her practice setting.

• Someone confident in clinical abilities to administer immunizations / treatments, perform diagnostic tests : EKG's, Holter Monitors, hearing / vision tests and CLIA waived testing.
• A patient champion who defends and preserves the rights of patients.
• Someone organized who can order / stock immunizations; confirm expiration dates on a consistent basis and dispose of expired stock.
• A teacher at heart who can contribute to the orientation of new nurses and provide direction for medical assistants.
• Someone tech savvy who will document in the electronic health record, prepare test results, and document in patient encounter forms.
• Someone who can prioritize patient phone calls and determine the need for immediate medical care, assist with procedures, and process refills.
