Structural Designer

Overview

Join our Structural team as a Structural Designer. In this role you will work on various structural design projects with state and local transportation agencies. As a Designer you will perform engineering models, analysis and / or designs, and supporting calculations / documentation. You will also coordinate the drafting of project elements for various clients. Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply!

Location

This position will be based in our Boston, Massachusetts office.

The Impact You Will Have

• Collect and assimilate data and perform modeling, analysis and / or design calculations of project elements.
• Draw design details under direction of Project Managers.
• Compute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships to pay items.
• Organize calculations to be included in design files, following project standards.
• Coordinate drafting of an element.
• Perform field or site visits as needed.
• Develop knowledge of applicable codes and standards and use of applicable CADD and Microsoft software.

What You Will Need

Compensation

The expected compensation range for this position is $72,000—$85,000 USD and is displayed in accordance with the Massachusetts Pay Transparency Act. The final compensation is based on factors including education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary, overtime, and bonuses.
