About The Position

We are seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity starts on Dec 1, 2025, and offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm. The ideal candidate is bilingual, experienced with CA Medical and ORP paneling, and committed to a 6-month contract with a strong background in rural health and preventative care.

Responsibilities and Duties

Deliver primary care services in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting

Manage patient visits addressing three or more complaints as needed

Provide rural health care, emphasizing quality metrics and preventative care

Document and manage patient care according to organizational protocols

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Additional Information

Strong preference for candidates who are bilingual

Must be panelled with CA Medical and ORP

Commitment to a 6-month LOA required

Experience in rural health and understanding of quality metrics are highly valued
