Responsibilities Hospital-based Operating Room setting specializing in Neuro / Spine, Ortho / trauma, and General / robotics / trauma cases Day shift schedule : Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (3x12 hours, 6 : 30-19 : 00) Call and late days required as needed Craniotomy and burr hole surgical procedures performed Altera EMR experience preferred but not required Responsibilities include circulating and / or scrubbing in a variety of surgical procedures with a focus on neuro and trauma cases Completion of 6-8 hours of online modules required during orientation (non-billable) Facility-administered drug screen, including testing for marijuana and CBD products, is mandatory upon arrival; positive results will result in cancellation Two supervisor references from the last three years are required for consideration Previous travel experience preferred but not required Requirements Active TX or compact state RN license required at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience in the appropriate service line Current certifications must be provided for consideration Experience with craniotomy and burr hole procedures required Previous permanent staff must have at least a 1-year separation before being eligible to return as a traveler Must reside more than 150 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Availability to complete required labs within 72 hours of offer Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-639275.
