Overview

Valuation Services Director - Complex Financial Instruments — Director level position in the Valuation Team. The firm seeks a Director of Business Valuation with a focus on Complex Financial Instruments (CFI) to work on a variety of challenging projects involving financial analysis, business and financial modeling, forecasting, and valuations of complex financial instruments and derivatives (including convertible instruments, embedded derivatives, earn-outs, interest rate derivatives, common and preferred stock and other securities, private debt instruments, options, warrants, and other derivative products). Services support mergers and acquisitions; venture financing and public offerings (IPOs); taxation planning and compliance; financial reporting; and strategic planning. The firm also supports assurance and tax clients in relation to valuation needs.

Responsibilities

Overall Responsibilities :

• Establish and maintain an effective sales and marketing process in the Valuation practice area, including setting specific growth goals to be incorporated into key objectives.
• Maintain an established referral network.
• Network with peers in other geographic markets and in other areas of assurance, tax, and business consulting.
• Contribute thought leadership in the practice area.
• Serve as the primary advisor to clients and manage the CFI engagement team members.
• Manage, oversee, train, and develop other CFI valuation professionals.

Salary range : $134,000 - $269,000, plus discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
