Job description

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) Assistant serves as a student leader of the campus’s programming efforts. Assist Office of Student Life with coordination and implementation of Campus Activities Board events and activities.

Hourly Rate : $15.00

General Purpose and Scope of Position :  The Campus Activities Board (CAB) Assistant serves as a student leader of the campus’s programming efforts. Assist Office of Student Life with coordination and implementation of Campus Activities Board events and activities.

Major Responsibilities :

  • Represent the student body’s voice when selecting future events / activities.
  • Assist with event logistics (setup, tear down, attendance tracking, assisting performers, etc.) at Campus Activities Board events / activities.
  • Create fliers and other promotional materials for events / activities.
  • Distribute event promotional materials on campus.
  • Assist the Office of Student Life with post event assessment through providing feedback, compiling survey data, etc.
  • Attend CAB sponsored events and activities.
  • Attend and actively participate in CAB / Student Life event planning meetings.
  • Actively encourage students to participate and / or get involved on campus.
