Our manufacturing client in the Irwin PA area is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support the sales and service departments.
- Prepare and manage quotations in SAP for machine spare parts consumables tooling contract services and other items by collaborating with customers and internal teams.
- Assist Regional Business Managers with feasibility quotes and order entry.
- Present quotations to customers and follow up to secure sales.
- Provide timely and professional responses to customer inquiries and requests.
- Conduct commercial contract reviews and process purchase orders in SAP.
- Support the Customer Service Manager with special projects and initiatives as needed.
- Contribute to the customer feedback process and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
- Complete customer supplier survey forms accurately and on time.
- Maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce including active and inactive machine serial numbers.
- Provide backup support to other Customer Service team members when required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; business or administrative training preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service or inside sales preferred.
- Proficient in computer applications including SAP and Salesforce (or similar CRM systems).
- Basic understanding of machine tools and their components.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in an office environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and procedures related to quality and job performance.
