As a Merchandiser with American Greetings, you are a vital part of our company’s purpose : helping people celebrate holidays, each other, and all of life’s special moments, by making the world a more thoughtful and caring place every single day. We are looking for merchandisers to work independently across various retail locations, showcasing their organization and time management skills to display and maintain inventory levels of our celebrations product, including greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush and more.

Pay :

• The starting pay is $12.20 per hour with two increases during the first year of employment (the listed rates are subject to change based on work location).
• After 6 months of employment the pay rate will increase to $12.90.
• After 1 year of continued employment the pay rate will increase to $13.50.

Route and Schedule :

This route will service the following retail locations at : 254 Cassidy Blvd, Pikeville, KY, 41501; 21410 Kentucky Rt 122 Unit 4, Bypro, KY; 9674 Ky Route 122, Mc Dowell, KY; 4041 N Mayo Trl, Pikeville, KY; 9350 South Us Hwy 23 Ste 102, Stanville, KY; 327 Thompson Rd, Pikeville, KY; 4952 Zebulon Hwy, Pikeville, KY; 8600 State Highway 194 E, Kimper, KY; 1848 W Shelbania Rd, Pikeville, KY; 640 Ky Route 680 E, Harold, KY; 72 Indian Creek Rd, Virgie, KY; 4600 S Hwy 7, Topmost, KY and 120 Justice Way, Pikeville, KY.

The weekly average hours are 15 hours per week. The weekly hours may increase to an average of 25 hours per week around holidays.

Qualifications :

Physical Demands :

You will be working on the sales floor as well as the back stock room. Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and fixtures of up to 40 pounds throughout the sales floor and backrooms. You will need to be able to stand, walk, stoop, and squat throughout the workday. A stepstool may be used to complete some tasks.
