Job descriptionHigh school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education a plus. MUST HAVE Manufacturing Industry Experience to be considered. 2+ years of supervisory experience in a shipping department within a production or manufacturing setting. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to problem-solve and make quick, sound decisions under pressure. A team-oriented mindset and a passion for people development. Shipping Supervisor
We are seeking a Shipping Supervisor for a direct hire position in Auburn, ME. The Shipping Supervisor will lead and support a night-shift team while ensuring consistent quality and production standards are met. The Shipping Supervisor will excel by maintaining a strong floor presence, promoting a safety-first culture, and ensuring efficient and effective operations. This is a full-time, 1st shift leadership role located in Auburn, ME.
As a Shipping Supervisor, you will be responsible for :
- Overseeing operations and supervising the Shipping Department team members.
- Monitoring production flow and output to ensure daily targets are met.
- Enforcing safety and sanitation protocols.
- Coaching and developing team members to maximize performance and morale.
- Completing reports, tracking performance metrics, and collaborating with other departments.
- Maintaining an organized, compliant, and positive working environment.
