We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our dynamic chiropractic and physical therapy clinic. The ideal candidate will have experience with healthcare billing, preferably within chiropractic and / or physical therapy settings, and be proficient in using ChiroTouch software. This position requires a motivated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage case-related communication with attorneys, and ensure timely and accurate insurance billing and charge posting.
Key Responsibilities :
Submit insurance claims accurately and efficiently through ChiroTouch.
Post charges and payments into the system with attention to detail.
Follow up on unpaid claims, denials, and discrepancies in a timely manner.
Work directly with attorneys and legal representatives for personal injury or accident-related case management.
Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
Collaborate with providers and front office staff to ensure billing information is correct and complete.
Communicate with insurance companies to verify benefits and resolve billing issues.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all other regulatory requirements.
Provide excellent customer service when handling patient billing inquiries.
Stay updated on billing and coding changes relevant to chiropractic and physical therapy services.
Qualifications :
Minimum 12 years of experience in medical billing (chiropractic and / or physical therapy preferred).
Proficiency with ChiroTouch a bonus.
Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes, CPT codes, and EOB interpretation.
Experience working with personal injury and attorney-based cases is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
