Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Clinton, Maryland 20735 (Greater Washington, DC area)

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1890-$2030

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 16, 2026

Shift : 3x12-hour day shifts (07 : 00 - 19 : 30)

Hours per Week : 36

Call Requirement : 36 hours per 6 weeks (on premises within 45 minutes of call)

Weekend / Holiday Coverage : Every other weekend / holiday as needed

Float Requirement : Required to float to like units (e.g., Mom / Baby) before permanent staff

Scrubs : Provided

Charting System : Cerner

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Compact or Maryland RN license (required at time of submission)

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience

At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment

High-risk Labor & Delivery experience

Previous charge nurse experience

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., AWHONN Intermediate (AWHONN Advanced preferred)

Must register for C-EFM during compliance or within first two weeks of assignment (C-EFM through NCC preferred)

Two supervisor references required

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Willingness to float to similar units as needed

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a high-risk, fast-paced clinical setting

Circulate for C-sections and assist with high-risk deliveries

Perform fetal heart monitoring and triage obstetrical patients

Recognize and manage abnormal fetal heart rate patterns

Precept and serve as charge nurse as needed

Float to Mom / Baby or similar units as required

Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled

Respond to call requirements and be on-site within 45 minutes when called
