Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes for our surgery center. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment while contributing to the financial success of our center.

Responsibilities :

• Review and verify patient demographic and insurance information for accuracy.
• Generate and submit claims to insurance companies, including Medicare and Medicaid, using appropriate billing codes and modifiers.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and denials, including appeals and resubmissions as necessary.
• Process payments, post adjustments, and reconcile accounts receivable.
• Communicate with patients, insurance carriers, and providers to resolve billing-related inquiries and disputes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing regulations, coding updates, and insurance policies.
• Prepare and analyze billing reports to monitor revenue cycle performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments, including coding and revenue cycle management, to ensure billing accuracy and compliance.
