Overview

Performs physical therapy treatment and exercise instruction under the direction of a Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate from a program for Physical Therapist Assistant accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education or approved successor organization.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and depth perception.
