Job Summary and Responsibilities

Join our team as a Certified Sterile Processing the Certified Sterile Processing Tech role you will :

• Promote improved quality and improved patient safety in the OR by ensuring the efficient flow of the Sterile Processing department.
• Perform routine tasks relating to the decontamination processing sterilization and distribution of instruments equipment and sterile supplies. Responsible for general operating and monitoring of sterilization equipment.
• Maintain records in compliance with AAMI AORN Joint Commission and OSHA standards. Maintains Certification and monitors instructs and mentors non-certified.
• Facilitate awareness and understanding around what is at stake with patients in the OR.
• Facilitate the departments preparation of staff to pass survey / regulatory assessments.

Schedule : 3 : 00pm - 11 : 30pm
