About the Role :
MIYO Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavior Specialist to provide in-person support to K-12 students in Clermont, Florida . In this role, you'll help develop and implement behavior intervention strategies, collaborate with educators and families, and play a key role in promoting positive student outcomes.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about student success and thrives in a collaborative school-based environment.
What You'll Do :
- Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to students, teachers, and support staff
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support IEP development and implementation
- Model effective behavioral strategies and provide coaching to staff
- Track progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP or student support meetings
- Respond to student crises and assist with de-escalation techniques when needed

Requirements
Requirements :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related fieldBCBA certification preferred (or RBT with relevant school-based experience)Minimum 2 years of experience in a school setting supporting students with behavioral challengesStrong understanding of FBAs, BIPs, and data-driven behavior supportExcellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skillsMust be available for the 2025-2026 school year and able to work on-site in Clermont, FLBonus Skills :
