Job Details :

• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Patient ratios : 1 : 5-6 for days and weekends, 1 : 6 for nights
• Weekend requirement : Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule minimum
• Holiday rotation obligation required
• Float to all medical units including renal, oncology, and neuro
• Pre-assignment communication provided when applicable, otherwise call recorded line up to 1 hour before shift for unit assignment
• Required certifications : BCLS, ACLS, IV start, and Telemetry
• Preferred certification : NIH
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Navy blue scrubs required
• EPIC charting system
• Free parking available
• Special equipment : lift devices (training provided), ceiling lifts, and bladder scanner
• Work with adults and geriatric patients
• Daily census : 28 to 50 depending on specific unit
• Guaranteed hours : 3 shifts per 13 weeks
• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
• No on-call requirements

The organization offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
