Job descriptionWork with 1 : 2 patient ratio in Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Units 13 or 26 week assignments available with 36 or 48 hours per week options Every other weekend requirement 36 hours of orientation provided Will float within service line to ICU units as needed Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13 weeks with standard shift cancellation policy 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers not accepted Travel experience required Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale Must be comfortable with navy scrubs and Epic charting system Home address must be at least 75 miles from facility Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract Charge RN assignments and holiday shifts as needed Care for patients with respiratory failure / ARDS, cardiac conditions, stroke, cardiac arrest, DKA, multi-organ failure, and sepsis Handle pre and post-operative cardiac, thoracic, and abdominal surgery patients Work with specialized equipment including IV pumps, CRRT / dialysis, ventilators / BiPAP, hemodynamic monitoring, and defibrillators Skills required include arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, blood product administration, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and wound care with drains / wound vac Referral bonus

The facility provides comprehensive intensive care services with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and specialized interpretation services. The organization operates a new 21-bed ICU unit focusing on complex medical and surgical cases, transplant care, and end-of-life services with state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
