Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field 1–3 years of experience in mutual fund operations, trade support, or fund accounting Familiarity with Matrix, FundSERV, or similar settlement systems Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities Proficient in Excel and eager to learn new platforms Knowledge of corporate actions and custody processes Experience with daily reconciliations or exception management Clear communicator and team player with a proactive mindset Client-focused culture : Deliver meaningful work that directly supports clients Collaborative environment : Partner with skilled professionals across multiple teams Room to grow : Learn, innovate, and take ownership of your work Values-driven : Integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement are at our core
Mutual Fund Analyst – Fund Activation & Servicing
Pittsburgh, PA | Hybrid
About the Role
We're hiring a Mutual Fund Analyst to join our Fund Activation & Servicing team. This is a great opportunity to build your expertise in mutual fund operations while supporting the onboarding, settlement, and maintenance of open-ended mutual fund accounts. You'll work across NSCC platforms (Matrix and FundSERV) and partner with teams in operations, risk, and technology to keep processes running smoothly and accurately.
What You'll Do
- Open and maintain mutual fund accounts through Matrix, FundSERV, and manual forms
- Support settlements and share movements related to corporate action events
- Manage account updates, audit requests, and wiring instruction changes
- Investigate and resolve daily settlement discrepancies and exceptions
- Reconcile custody positions against fund statements for accuracy
- Process stock power requests and account transfers
