Job Summary :
As a skilled Orthopedic Surgery Registered Nurse, you will practice independently within a clinical setting, showcasing comprehensive awareness of relevant patient care situations. Your role will involve delivering both routine and complex nursing care while focusing on long-term patient goals. You will develop your abilities to manage clinical contingencies effectively and delegate tasks appropriately to enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :

- Follows the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, applying the nursing process for your assigned patients through assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Addresses the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with your nursing practice.
- Administers medications and treatments per appropriate protocols; monitors patients for side effects and treatment efficacy.
- Documents patient history, symptoms, medications given, and overall care provided.
- Identifies patient and family education needs and provides appropriate resources and support.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.Experience : At least 1 year of experience in the relevant nursing specialty is preferred.Licenses & Certifications : BLS certification required; RN license in your state of employment or compact is necessary.Work Schedule :
Shifts will be from 7 AM to 7 PM.
