Superintendent - Construction

Location : Coral Gables, Fl

Type :  On-Site

Schedule :  Full-Time - Monday-friday 8-5 (Some Saturdays will be required depending on the operation.)

Contract Type :   Permanent

Salary : $65.000-$70.000 / anually

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the daily operations of construction projects, ensuring compliance with project plans, schedules, and safety standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a deep understanding of construction management, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage on-site construction activities, including scheduling, coordination, and supervision of subcontractors, trades, and labor crews.
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, quality standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain project progress.
  • Monitor project performance, productivity, and budget adherence, proactively addressing delays, conflicts, and cost overruns.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, quality control checks, and safety audits to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure transparency and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, change orders, and as-built drawings.

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction supervision , preferably with a general contractor.
  • Bilingual ( Fluent in English and Spanish)
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and manage on-site teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid) and Microsoft Office Suite .
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred .
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation .
