Order Specialist

Our Order Specialists play a vital part in making sure that our Metronet Associates out in the field have the supplies and materials in order to do their jobs efficiently and effectively. As an Order Specialist, you will be responsible for taking a pick list, going through our warehouse and picking / pulling the appropriate products and materials (in the correct quantity) to pack and send to our field teams. A successful candidate would be comfortable working independently, have a strong attention to detail, and be able to follow instructions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Picking customer orders using a barcode scanner to pull items from shelves / bins
• Packaging orders in accordance to the organization's standards to ensure minimal risk of damage
• Lifting packages and operating handling equipment in accordance to safety regulations (fork truck & pallet jack)
• Loading delivery vehicles
• Placing containers / packages on pallets and securing with stretch wrap, shrink wrap, and strapping
• Assisting in stock replenishment and storage
• Performing general warehouse duties as directed
• Ensuring a neat, organized, and efficient work area
• Keeping record of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Ensuring each shipment labels are attached and accurately reflect the shipment order
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
