Substitute Teachers - All Grade Levels

Stevenson School is a PK-12 co-educational, college-preparatory, boarding and day school with enrollment of 770 students on two campuses in beautiful Central Coast California .

The Upper Division campus (Grades 9-12) is located in Pebble Beach.

The Lower / Middle Campus (Grades PK-8) is in nearby Carmel-by-the-Sea.

Lower Division; Grades PK - 4 Middle Division; Grades 5-8 Upper Division; Grades 9-12 Satisfactory completion of background checks including references, and state and federal criminal databases, as well as a TB negative status statement will be required.  Responsibilities Include :

• Classroom management Implementation of lesson plans, as appropriate Communication with division leadership and divisional and / or departmental colleagues Required Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree  Previous classroom teaching experience with students in similar age group or demonstrated relevant experience that would support success in a substitute teaching role A passion for learning and the ability to motivate and inspire students Excellent written and verbal communication skills Personal traits appropriate for nurturing the growth of children - must be energetic, creative, flexible, patient, and have an inexhaustible sense of humor Interested candidates are invited to use the link provided to send a cover letter and resume to : Susan Fahey Khanna, Director of Human Resources
