Floating between facilities is required. Certifications in CMD are mandatory. Experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, pediatric acute care, and pediatric outpatient settings is necessary. Applicant must have experience with beam modifiers, block cutting, CBCT / kV / mV imaging, and wedges. Familiarity with dosimetry and QA systems such as Electron Beam Therapy, IMRT, and MOSFET / OSLD systems is required. Experience with linear accelerators including Eclipse (Varian), Varian TrueBeam, and Varian TrueBeam Edge is essential. Pretreatment responsibilities may include 4D CT simulation, CT simulation, and custom molds and shields. Knowledge of image fusion / registration techniques, MRI, motion management techniques, and tumor localization is required. Experience with treatment planning systems including auxiliary devices, Eclipse (Varian), and Pinnacle (Philips) is needed. Specialty treatment experience in benign brain tumors, brachytherapy, and stereotactic radiosurgery is essential. Professional knowledge in calculating radiation doses, designing treatment plans, and performing DVH analysis is required. Applicants should demonstrate field shaping skills and plan evaluations against clinical protocols. Quality assurance experience for IMRT / VMAT / SBRT plans and knowledge of radiation safety is mandatory. Familiarity with computerized charting systems including ARIA, DICOM-RT, and PACS is required. Travelers are expected to float within hospitals and to nearby affiliate facilities when necessary. References from within the last 24 months will be required. Candidates must provide valid certifications as part of the application process.
