Description
Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a statewide service provider specializing in retail skilled trade services. As a Vehicle and Equipment Technician you are responsible for performing maintenance, repairs and inspections on stake beds, 3 / 4-ton trucks, 1-ton vans, scissor lifts and various yard equipment. The ideal candidate should have at least four years of recent mechanic experience with a strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and practice safety guidelines. The work schedule is Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance on gasoline-powered engines, including oil and filter changes, tune-ups, and brake replacements
- Inspect and diagnose engines, transmissions, and other components using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Collaborate with supervisors, managers, and internal teams to provide updates on repair status and job requirements
- Perform test drives of vehicles in compliance with company guidelines
- Inspect trailers and ensure break lights work properly
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with company policies
- Assist with additional duties as needed to support departmental operations
Requirements
