Supplier Management & Qualification
- Establish strong supplier relationships while ensuring performance against KPIs for quality, cost, delivery, and service.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Regulatory teams to qualify new suppliers and materials aligned with innovation needs.
- Implement and manage supplier scorecards to evaluate performance, drive accountability, and support continuous improvement.
- Facilitate regular supplier reviews and corrective action processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Planning, Operations, Sales, R&D, and Quality to anticipate material needs, support new product development.Support S&OP by providing demand insights and aligning material availability with forecasted volumes.Participate in commercialization and go-to-market processes to ensure procurement readiness.Qualifications / Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Food Science, or related field (MBA or CPM / CPSM preferred)8+ years of procurement experience, including leadership roles in food manufacturingStrong knowledge of market dynamics, ingredient and packaging sourcing, and global supply networksExpertise in category management, cost modeling, PPV analysis, and contract negotiationProficient in ERP / MRP systems and advanced Excel; experience with procurement analytics tools a plus (SIEVO)Excellent cross-functional collaboration, project management, and stakeholder communication skillsFamiliarity with food safety standards (BRC, SQF, FDA, etc.) and sustainability practices
