• Perform hardware engineering activities within a team of Mechanical, Electrical, and Software Engineers.
• Develop imaginative, thorough, practicable technical solutions to a wide range of difficult Mechanical Engineering problems.
• Contribute to concept development as part of internal cross-functional design teams, including prototyping, production, and test support.
• Perform detailed design of mechanical structures and subsystems using solid modeling, requirements analysis, trade studies, mechanical engineering analysis (including structural, dynamics, and thermal), drafting and tolerance analysis, and human interface design.
• Prepare high-quality formal engineering documentations such as drawings, specifications, design presentations to customers, test plans, and test reports.
• Support proposal activity, providing input to cost estimates and risk assessments.
• Brief peers, management, and customers on design considerations and program status.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Level 2

A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering with 2 or more years' experience is required, or Master's Degree with 1 year of experience.

Level 3

A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering with 5 or more years' experience is required, a similar or Systems Engineering Master's or PhD with 3 or more years' experience is preferred. Team leadership experience is preferred.
