Unit Specifics : \nNone provided.\n\nAdditional Requirements : \n\nMust be a seasoned traveler with several years of OR experience.\n\nNo first-time travelers will be considered.\n\nFacility handles a high volume of craniotomies and spinal trauma (“broken backs”), so the traveler must be fully confident and independent in emergency neurosurgery cases.\n\nAssignment Details : \n\nLength : 26 weeks\n\nLicense : Active Kansas RN license required\n\nCertifications : BLS and ACLS\n\nSchedule : Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – 0630 to 1900\n\nRole Summary : \nRNs will participate in a broad range of surgical cases, including routine, urgent, and trauma procedures. Responsibilities will include care throughout the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases.\n\nOn-Call Requirements : May include up to : \n\n(2) 7a–11a calls per month\n\n(2) 7p–7a calls per month\n\n(2) 7a–7a weekend call shifts per month\n\nHoliday Call : 1 working holiday + 1 call shift per year (typically 8 hours each)\n\nAdditional Information : \n\nOT begins at 48 hours (if scheduled).\n\nEMR : Epic\n\nAccount Manager : Jenn Hesse
