Are you detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and passionate about supporting high-performance field operations? Join AES Drilling Fluids as a Field Equipment Coordinator and play a vital role in supporting our engineering and field teams by ensuring our field testing and lab equipment are always ready, serviced, and accounted for.

The job will be based in our Midland office and involve some travel throughout the Permian Basin. Applicants must live in the Midland / Odessa area or within a reasonable distance from the Midland office.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill equipment and supply delivery / pickup requests for engineers on rig sites
  • Safely transport lab and field-testing equipment for maintenance and repair
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all equipment, reagents, and parts
  • Perform regular inventory cycle counts and restock items as needed
  • Track and maintain service records to ensure peak equipment performance
  • Conduct minor equipment maintenance and calibration
  • Maintain a tracking database for all equipment, ensuring visibility of asset location and assignment
  • Act as the go-to equipment contact for the regional engineering department
  • Assist with special projects and provide general support as needed

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Chemistry or a related science field preferred
  • 1–3 years of relevant oil & gas experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Solid troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn technical equipment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
  • Work Conditions

  • Mix of office, lab, and field environments with regular travel
  • Must be available on-call 24 / 7 and open to extended work hours or weekends as needed
  • Will drive and transport equipment between various AES sites and customer locations
