Material Handler

1st Shift - Forklift Operator

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Forklift / Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate sit-down gas forklifts, and over time, you may also operate skid steers and balers. You will be responsible for stacking and moving recycling materials, transporting materials throughout the facility, and emptying full containers. You will perform general preventative maintenance on forklift equipment and assist wherever needed.

Responsibilities :

• Operate sit-down forklifts (gas) efficiently.
• Stack and move recycling materials and garbage.
• Transport materials throughout the facility and empty full containers.
• Perform general preventative maintenance on forklift equipment.
• Assist in various tasks as needed across the facility.

Work Environment, Shift Hours, and Pay :

1st Shift : 4 : 00am - EOS (12 : 30pm / 1 : 00pm) @ $21 / hr

2nd Shift : 2 : 45pm - EOS (midnight) @ 22 / hr

The facility is located in Madison, WI.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beloit, WI.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
