About the Role
The Head of Enterprise Risk Management will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of a comprehensive enterprise risk management (ERM) framework that identifies, assesses, monitors, and mitigates strategic, operational, financial, compliance and reputational risks across the organization. You will partner with senior leadership and business unit heads to define risk appetite and tolerance, develop risk-reporting metrics and dashboards, chair or support risk-governance committees, and ensure effective integration of risk management practices into strategic planning and decision-making. Your role will include leading the risk management team, coordinating with internal audit, compliance, and operations functions, responding to regulatory examinations, and promoting a proactive risk-aware culture throughout the company.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelors degree in finance, business administration, risk management or a related field (a Masters degree or professional risk certification is strongly preferred) and bring at least 1015 years' increasingly senior experience in enterprise risk management or a related risk discipline (e.g., operational risk, compliance, audit) within a complex, regulated environment. You must possess deep knowledge of ERM frameworks (such as COSO), excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities, strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, and a proven track record of building risk governance, reporting processes and embedding risk culture. Experience working cross-functionally across finance, operations, compliance and business leadership is essential.
