Civil Survey Project Manager

Job Summary : The Project Manager will have responsible charge of all assigned projects and related aspects including field personnel and technical staff. The successful candidate will be highly proficient with Trimble Business Center, AutoCad Civil 3D, total stations, and Trimble GPS. We are looking for someone with + / - 10 years of progressive experience in surveying field work, office work, and project management. The candidate should have strong written skills, with relevant experience in client communications and project execution.Duties & Responsibilities : Represent the company in a positive and enthusiastic wayResponsible for safe working practicesManage and prepare documents for all land surveying activityOversee timely document and design submittalsAddress any issues involving scope, schedule, and budget as they arisePrepare cost estimates and write proposal documentsRequired Qualifications : The selected candidate must be able to pass background and drug tests, and have a valid driver's license with a good driving record10 years' experience in Land SurveyingOperational understanding of GPS and survey equipmentStrong electronic design skills, AutoCAD Civil3D preferred.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities : Ability to work with mathematical conceptsAble to work independently and with the teamExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrate strong problem solving skills, and able to provide effective-solutions during challenges and conflictDemonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projectsStrong electronic design skills, AutoCAD Civil3D preferredActive involvement in organizations related to the profession or consulting industry is a plusThis position requires the candidate to display a high aptitude for learning and retaining new knowledge.
