Service Technician - Oil and Lube

C & H Excavation is looking for a Service Technician to perform vehicle maintenance at our job sites across northern Colorado. Become part of our team that is focused on the expansion of our company as well as the growth of our employees. We are willing to train the right candidate!

Responsibilities :

Ability to work independently.

Critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Work safely and use proper tools and equipment.

Draining the oil from a vehicle and replacing it to manufacturer specifications.

Checking tire pressure and filling tires with air as needed to manufacture specifications.

Lubricating moving parts as necessary, including those in the engine and wheel bearings and ensuring the engine is kept clean throughout servicing.

Ability to diagnose existing issues and consult with lead mechanics on the team to address the vehicles' issues.

Requirements :

• Reliability : Must be punctual, dependable, and committed to meeting work schedules and deadlines.
• Valid Driver's License : A valid driver's license is required for occasional local deliveries and pickups.
• Physical Stamina : This position involves manual labor, lifting heavy objects, and standing for extended periods. You should be physically fit and able to perform these tasks.
• Team Player : Collaborate effectively with colleagues and take directions from Cylinder Technicians and shop management.
• Willingness to Learn : Be open to learning new skills and techniques related to cylinder repair and maintenance.
• Work Ethic : Must be diligent, hardworking, and willing to get your hands dirty to complete tasks.
• Safety Awareness : Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ault, CO : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
• Work Location : In person Ault, CO Shop.
• Valid Driver's license.

Job Type : Full-time

Salary : $20.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE

Schedule :

40+ hours a week. Flexible Hours - Monday - Saturday some Sundays as needed

(Hours are flexible but you must be willing to work a 10 hour day or more every work day)

Schedule is negotiable but weekend coverage is needed

Overtime as needed and a willingness to work overtime.
