Experience & Skills Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
• State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

Located at  1605 Church St #670, Thrive Pet Healthcare – Decatur offers comprehensive primary veterinary services for cats and dogs. Our team provides preventive care, wellness exams, diagnostics, vaccines, surgery, and non-critical urgent care with same-day appointments available.

We serve not just Decatur, but also nearby Midtown, Buford, Marietta, Woodstock, and Alpharetta. Open six days a week, we also offer an industry-first membership program for added convenience.

Decatur is a charming and historic city located about 5–6 miles east of downtown Atlanta, serving as the county seat of DeKalb County. With roughly 25,000 residents, it's celebrated for its vibrant downtown, which blends historic architecture with modern shops, eateries, live music venues (like Eddie’s Attic), and community festivals.
