Job Title : Diesel Fleet Technicians
Compensation : $26 - $32 per hour
Key Responsibilities :
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel fleet vehicles to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability.
Conduct inspections and diagnose issues to identify areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and education.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required; medium / heavy-duty truck technical training / experience preferred.
Three years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair; or two years of school and one year of experience.
Certifications such as Annual Inspector Certification, Brake Inspector Certification, ASE certifications, and HVAC certification are highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues, supervisors, and external stakeholders.
