Job descriptionThe candidate will join a growing Radiology Department of over 50 subspecialized radiologists supporting clinical services. Candidates must be Board Certified in Radiology and fellowship-trained in Musculoskeletal Radiology (MSK) Exhibit strong clinical skills to work effectively and efficiently across the full spectrum of imaging modalities / procedures relevant to MSK imaging. This is an on-site position with participation in interventional procedures including MRI, CT, joint injection / aspiration, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue / bone biopsy Practice setting is hospital-based 2 Types of Call : Weekday 4pm-11pm call from home (only with no day shifts on those days) about on average once a week. Also, weekend call about 7 calls per year. Intermittent evening shift and weekend call duties are fulfilled remotely from home with fully functional PACS / Voice recognition systems. Average Number of Cases Per Day : Mix plain film and cross sectional. 110 xrays, 20 MRIs / CT / Ultrasound Trauma Level / Designation : Loyola = Trauma 1, MNH and GMH = Trauma 2 Number of Radiologists in Practice : Specific to MSK is 4.8 FTEs, in department 41 FTE Teleradiology is not used for MSK Patient Age Demographic : All ages, but pediatrics not required There are opportunities for clinical and translational research if interested. EMR : Epic, Powerscribe 360, Interad PACs, Softek Illuminate Board Certified in Radiology - REQUIRED Fellowship-Trained in MSK Radiology - REQUIRED Active IL license or already in process - Required BLS - REQUIRED
