Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care

  • Duration : 13 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift : 12 hours, nights
  • Employment Type : Travel
  • Position : Pediatric Critical Care RN (PICU / CVICU)
  • Contract Length : 13 weeks
  • Start Date : 11 / 24 starts only
  • Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) or Rotating
  • Experience :

2 years highly preferred, but will consider candidates with 1+ years experience.

  • Peds cardiac experience is a plus.
  • Certifications : BLS and PALS are required.
  • Charting : EPIC experience is required
  • Patient Population : Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, and Adolescents.
  • Diagnoses / Procedures : Combined pediatric cardiac (DORV, TOF, HLHS, TGA, Heart TX) and medical critical care (TBI, RSV+, DKA, Trauma, Post-op ortho / neuro / Liver / Kidney TX).
  • Special Equipment : ECMO , VADs , and CRRT are used.
  • Required Skills Include : Arterial line management, Hemodynamic monitoring, Ventilator Management, Care of Ventilated Patient, Continuous Sedation, EVD / ICP monitoring, Pediatric CVICU, Pediatric Dosage Calculations, PICU, and more.
