Our client is seeking a strategic, hands-on Vice President of Operations to lead and elevate property management operations across a diverse portfolio of affordable and workforce housing communities . This role will drive performance through operational excellence, team development, and strategic planning. You will work cross-functionally with asset management, acquisitions, and corporate leadership to shape and execute business plans that enhance resident satisfaction, community stability, and portfolio growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-state operations, driving performance, NOI growth, and resident retention through strategic planning and execution
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting while monitoring KPIs such as occupancy, rent collection, and expenses
• Lead and develop Regional Managers and site teams through coaching, goal-setting, and alignment with company values
• Partner with HR on talent acquisition, onboarding, training, and succession planning
• Ensure consistent, high-quality resident services and customer experience across all communities
• Implement operational policies to improve efficiency, satisfaction, and compliance with housing regulations
• Support acquisitions, lease-ups, capital improvements, and maintain audit and inspection readiness
• Support internal teams on legal, compliance, and safety issues
