Our client, a global leader in energy management and automation, is actively looking for a Production Planner to join their team in West Chester, OH! This role is onsite 3 days a week so local candidates are required.
This is a 6 month contract with the opportunity to extend or convert based on business need
Responsibilities
- Manage production schedules for multiple areas and product groups
- Work with Purchasing team to understand material lead times
- Collaborate with the warehouse team for timing and execution of picking materials to jobs
- Notify customers when there are delays in production
- Manage delivery dates in SAP
- Communicate job status' related to special requests
- Run various production meetings to communicate customer needs and internal schedules (Will lead 2 production meetings a week)
Required Skills & Experience
Associate's degree preferred3+ years of relevant experience working in a Production / Planning focused role in a manufacturing facility or supply chain environmentExperience working within an MRP / ERP system (SAP or Oracle are preferred)Strong experience working in Excel
