Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in Charleston, SC. The position offers a full-time contract from January through May 28, 2026, covering a maternity leave assignment with itinerant responsibilities across multiple schools. The role demands a dedicated professional experienced in supporting students through direct therapy, assessments, evaluations, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) management.
Key Qualifications and Experience :
- Current active South Carolina state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology; candidates with pending licensure will not be considered.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required; Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are not eligible.
- Experience working with a K-12 caseload, including conducting assessments, evaluations, and developing IEPs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families to support student communication needs.
- Flexibility and willingness to work in multiple school locations within the district.
