Job Details :

  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Duration : Ongoing (locum tenens coverage)
  • Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM, on-site only
  • Coverage Type : Scheduled clinical hours only, no call
  • Practice Setting : Outpatient Breast Center

Practice Scope :

  • High-volume breast imaging (40 patients per shift)
  • Breast biopsies and breast imaging required
  • Fellowship training in Breast Imaging required
  • Must be Board Certified in Radiology
  • EMR : Epic

    • Facility Details :

  • Trauma Level II facility
  • Patient population : adult only (no pediatrics)
  • Support staff : 1 RN, 15 office staff
  • No resident or APP supervision required

    • Requirements :

  • Active Louisiana medical license or IMLC Qualification- IPL will help with Licensure!
  • Board Certification (Radiology Breast specialty)
  • Breast Imaging Fellowship (required)
  • Certifications : ACLS, BLS
  • Estimated credentialing : 120 days

    • Logistics :

  • Insurance : Provided by IPL
  • Travel : Nearest airport LFT (Lafayette Regional Airport)
  • Lodging : Ochsner preferred hotel list and corporate codes available

    • Additional Information :

  • 1 2 providers needed for ongoing coverage
  • Holiday coverage not required (major holidays excluded)
