Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,325 per week in Modesto, CA

Job Title : Cath Lab Tech Profession : Radiology / Cardiology Specialty : Cath Lab Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience required License : Either RCIS or AART and California license Certifications : ACLS, BLS, CCI RCIS, State licensed, ARRT Must-Have : - Experience scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring Cath Lab procedures - Experience with Coronary Angiograms with PCI, Pacemakers, and Peripheral Aortograms - Ability to meet call requirement of 8-12 call shifts per month and one weekend of call required per month Description : Local battle rates differ. This position can be either 4x10 or 3x12. Accurate monitoring skills are essential. Experience with Angioplasty and Aortography is required. Candidates should be proficient in Cardiac Stent Placement and Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterizations. Knowledge of Electrophysiology Lab procedures is preferred. The ability to set up equipment and perform Fluoroscopy is required. Candidates must be skilled in Hemodynamic monitoring and IABP placement / removal. Experience with Impella insertion and recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias is necessary. Candidates should be capable of performing left heart and right heart catheterizations. Maintaining a sterile field during procedures is crucial. Skills in stent placement and stocking supplies are needed. Temporary Pacemaker insertion experience is required. Knowledge of Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation / replacement is preferred. Experience with Vascular Closure Systems is beneficial. Candidates will work closely with interdisciplinary support and must be adaptable to various patient diagnoses. Specific charting experience, preferably with Epic, is required. All certifications must be valid at the time of submission. Background checks will be conducted prior to submission, and candidates must disclose any previous hits or DUIs.
