ASM / Service Writer – Automotive Dealership

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused ASM (Assistant Service Manager) / Service Writer to join our service team. This role bridges the gap between customers and the service department, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient workflow management.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and concerns regarding vehicle service.
• Schedule service appointments and maintain an organized workflow for the service department.
• Accurately document customer concerns, vehicle issues, and required services in repair orders.
• Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely service completion.
• Provide detailed estimates of service costs and obtain customer authorization for repairs.
• Keep customers updated on service progress, any additional recommended repairs, and timeline changes.
• Review completed work orders and explain services performed to customers at the time of vehicle pickup.
• Promote and upsell recommended maintenance services to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership profitability.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional service area.
